Honey do list

How many of you have a honey do list for your hubby? Does your list keep getting bigger and bigger? My husband should be finished with his probably.. oooh never!! LOL I keep adding and adding to it. Shad is such a good man he just says "sure I'll be happy to make that." Perfect example is the picture above.

You see I have another love besides my prims. I LOVE my saltwater fish. I had a small 15 gallon tank that I had a pair of nemo fish, an antenna goby and some coral in it. I would sit for hours watching the life in this tank. ( I still do this LOL) My son surprised me last March for my birthday he purchased this 75 gallon tank for me to upgrade to. The only thing was we had to drive down to Dayton to pick this up. I certainly didn't complain. The family drove the hour and a half down to pick up the tank and then drove back. Of course this tank can not sit on a store bought stand, it would just stick out like a sore thumb with all my primitive furniture. Here is where the honey do list comes in....:P

I had been researching how to make your own tank stand the week prior to picking up this tank. I had print outs and ideas written out on paper. This was important so my Shad would see that it can be done and easily at that. That very night Shad started on the stand it was finished within three days and the new tank was set up!!! This of course meant that all the furniture in the front of the house had to be moved around and I had to re-decorate and get everything to look just perfect. In fact the Santa's you see on the shelf have been moved since this picture was taken. Oh and the shelf above the tank... that was another honey do project. Yes I know I have a great husband...

  1. We have a 75 gallon salt water fish tank also, I had to have the cabinet made for it. I wish I thought of doing it black, but it looks nice! I love your fish tank holder! Do you have live coral also. My brother does and his house is VERY primitive.. It could be in a magazine it is so beautiful!!

  2. Thank you very much. I do have coral. I worked hours getting the live rock just right. I have been slowing adding coral frags to my tank. I can't wait till it fills in.
